Dan Degerman was born and grew up in Vilhelmina, noted for the beauty of it’s scenery in the south of Lapland.
Since a very young age, handicraft has been one of his biggest interests.
But it wasn't until the year of 2001 that knife making became a serious activity. Dan is making all forms of knives, the knife for the hunter and fisherman or the more exclusives knives of collections. The most exclusive knives are made with damask blade. Handles made mostly of, among others, mammoth ivory or sperm whale tooth in combination with a beautiful piece of hardwood.
